Consent and communications controls
Operational controls that support responsible owner follow-up.
Consent-first workflow
A new owner record begins with a needs consent status. Before a follow-up can be approved for delivery, the agent must record a consent decision and, when consent is granted, its source. Denied or revoked consent marks the owner as do not contact.
Review before delivery
The workspace creates review tasks based on the purchase date and rescission deadline. Tasks are not sent automatically. A separately configured delivery workflow only receives an approved task after the consent gate is satisfied.
Audit evidence
Timeshare Agent records owner creation, consent changes, task completion, task approval, and sale records. Agents should also retain any records required by their employer and governing requirements.
Agent responsibilities
- Verify that contact details, dates, consent status, and consent source are accurate.
- Honor opt-out, revocation, and internal do-not-contact directions immediately.
- Review messages and workflows for suitability before enabling delivery.
- Use only approved sending providers and required disclosures.
